If I may, I'd like to take a quick second to introduce myself...
I'm Cheryl Grace the founding CEO of Powerful Penny, LLC a holistic executive coaching, and personal development firm.
I empower women to confidently and courageously live the life they SAY they want to live at work, in love and at home by coaching them how to be intentional about the choices they make.
Before this I spent more than 25+ years climbing the ranks of corporate America and became a highly visible and respected top executive at a global corporation.
But as a divorced, single mom, I always kept my professional life separate from my home life and especially my love life.
I operated in silos, never mixing my different worlds.
Until I turned 50.
My son was headed for college. And I decided I wanted to be married again.
(I make a really great wife. Even my starter-husband agrees) 😊
So I decided to intentionally go looking for love with the same intensity I'd devoted to creating a successful career.
Not only did I find love, and marry a wonderful man in a storybook wedding people are still talking about.
I was incredibly happy so I blossomed even more professionally. (huh! go figure!)
There was so much peace and harmony at home that I began inviting friends and family over for dinner parties and weekend retreats because I wanted everyone to experience the level of happiness we'd found.
Never before had I allowed myself to excel in all three areas of my life -- at work, in love and at home.
I realized I wasn't alone. Other working women, over 35 who had devoted themselves to either their families or their careers felt imbalanced.
Often as women we compartmentalize or downplay aspects of ourselves. And it prevents us from being our truest, most fabulous full selves.
So I left corporate America (and a whole lotta money!) I mean like A LOT! to follow my passion to become an ambassador of fabulosity!
Because I believe we're all meant to live fabulous multidimensional lives.
But if no one empowers us to do that...
or leads by example ...
how can we spread the theory of fabulosity so that it grows and flourishes among women everywhere?
Yes, you can be a badass at work.
and..
Yes, you can be in a healthy, monogamous committed relationship.
and...
Yes, your home life can be welcoming, cozy and drama free.
No, you don't have to have one at the expense of the other.
No, you don't have to keep your three selves separate and unequal.
But you do need to be intentional about the choices you make.
You do need to adopt a positive mindset and to recognize when self-limiting beliefs are holding you back.
You do need to set goals, celebrate your wins and stay in action.
